Join us at Limerick City Library for our Spring Pop-Up Book Club. This season, we’ll be reading a gripping speculative novel that peers into a chilling future and explores the consequences of our obsession with algorithms. Follow Sara, a museum worker and mother of twins, as her ordinary life is shattered when an algorithm predicts she will harm the person she loves most.

Living Gaeilge Every Day
Local author Eoin Ó Conchúir invites you to this lunchtime talk in Limerick City Library where he will reflect on the webs of meaning that we can experience through the Irish language. We can face shared challenges that run deep, such as shame around the language, regret and self-judgement. Rather than trying to strive to be “better” at Irish, we can open up to experiencing the language where we are today. Eoin will share his journey with the language that touches on Irish myth, ancient places, and art-marking. By the end of the talk, you’ll have a sense of how you can simply meet the language in your every day. Eoin is the author of the new book Seacht mBealach / Seven Ways: A field guide to Gaeilge Gach Lá.
Spaces are limited so please register your place now.
